Zoe began photographing mothers remotely during COVID lockdowns. She has now photographed over 50 remote sessions, and is leading the way for remote photography. She uses the same techniques, creative eye and guidance that she would deliver for an in person session. The only difference for remote sessions is that the guidance is given through the phone whilst she snaps photos remotely using your iphone camera.... (and usually a helpful friend or partner holds the phone so you can be free to move about and follow instructions).

HI, I’M ZOË!
Human being. ’80s baby. Mum. Storyteller. Soulful creative. Artist.
Starting from a Minolta film camera and a makeshift darkroom in my backyard, fast forward and I have more cameras than time to use them and an evolved, everlasting love of making art out of memories. Creative explorations set a wildfire of fulfilment through my life.
Away from the camera, my life is made up of a passion for philanthropy, crazy adventures abroad, and spending quality time with my honey of a husband, Jewel, and my greatest achievements yet, my daughter Zaria and son Jasper.
I feel infinitely lucky to share such personal moments with you and tell your story through this amazing art form. I look forward to getting to know you.

- Not really suitable for toddlers. They can be included in a few photos if there is a newborn or for maternity photographs but shouldn’t be the focus. Generally it is too hard to direct a toddler for a remote session and keep them engaged. I would recommend an in-person shoot if you want a lot of toddler focused photographs.

$150 session fee paid upon booking does not include any photographs. Payment for the Silver Package is due the day before your session. You can then always choose to upgrade your package after receiving and viewing your gallery to either the Gold or Platinum package if you wish, but there is no commitment. Minimum investment for a remote session is $350.

FAQ'S
Q: How exactly does this work?
A: Once you book your session in you will be sent all the shoot details on how to prepare for the session. You will be given the details of an app to download called CLOS. Once we begin the session Zoë will send you a link to join, and we will connect via the app on your phone. This app allows Zoë to have something similar to a Facetime call with you whilst allowing her to take photos via your iphone in an uncompressed raw file format. These photographs are then uploaded to the cloud via the app, where Zoë will be able to access them to download. As these are uncompressed raw images she can then edit them the same way she would normally edit photographs taken with her regular camera equipment. It sounds more complicated than it is, and you won’t need to worry about anything except to have your phone charged and the app downloaded.
Q: Can we use an Android phone?
A: Currently the software is not as optimal for an Android phone as the iphone, so we only use iPhones at this time.
Q: I am pregnant and would love maternity photos, When should I book these in?
A: Perfect! The remote session works beautifully for maternity photographs. We would say to book the session in between 32 - 36 weeks pregnant.
Q: What kind of sessions are these best suited for?
A: Maternity is definitely the best use for a remote session. They also work well for beautiful skin to skin photographs with babes in arms and breastfeeding photographs etc.
They are not really too suitable for toddlers. They can be included in a few photos if there is a newborn or for maternity photographs but shouldn’t be the focus. Generally it is too hard to direct a toddler for a remote session and keep them engaged. They usually run off and lose interest pretty quickly. I would recommend an in-person shoot if you want a lot of toddler focused photographs.
